Today Grace is getting her shots for the trip to Nicaragua. She had those doe-like eyes that told me she was a little concerned about the process, but Chris and I reassured her that the needles were NOT a foot long, and the nurse was really a nurse, and not just one dressed up for Halloween. You're supposed to get candy on this day, not Yellow Fever shots!
It is the morning of the third day of the build. Grace is doing just as I had thought, and her kind spirit is permeating the build site. Not only that, but the team is both inspired and calmed by her. She is a workhorse as I have been told (we are on different build sites). I got to see her in action when her team came to our site to help us. We were running behind and they came to help us make cement and pour the foundation (all by hand of course!). As soon as Grace arrived I could tell how comfortable she was in the environment. She played with the kids and they loved her right away. When push came to shove and the cement job began, she stepped in and her physical strength powered up. If anybody ever needs cement mixed by hand, shovelled into buckets and poured....Grace is your girl!

Ahh Grace, you are amazing :-)
